Improve Traffic - An Introduction

My first tip is about not looking 'spammy', in forums, comments, yahoo answers etc. Do not become those spammers like everyone just want to chop of their heads :) !

Of course you want people to visit your site, but you want them to visit your site because they want to and they are interested about what you have to say...

Let's say I'm going to sign up to one of the forums out there. After I sign up I want to be apart of the community and answer some questions that people are asking and make some friendly advice. And you know talk to people. They are human beings. Never say like: "Hey take a look at my blog! and then your link."

This way people will feel like they are getting spammed and don't want to check out what you have to offer.

Example:

Not good:
• Check out my blog! Great stuff man, here is my website!
• I made **.**$ today doing this, and some link
You know this is all advertising and average people don't like advertisements. And places like forums you are not using it to advertise. Not this way at least!

Good way:
• You give some friendly advice, or you answer someone's question and then you leave your signature and your link below. Just like that, don't tell them to click on it.
Note: If people like what you are saying and you are honest, with helpful tips people want to know more about you and what you have to offer. And they will click and take a look at your blog/website.


My second tip is about making your link stand out, look more appealing.

When you leave your link somewhere you should make it look readable.

Example:

Let's say I have a website about cooking and I was really lucky to get the domain www.tipstomakemoneyonline.com

But to make the link look more appealing you write it like this
www.TipsTomakeMoneyOnline.com

See how the link suddenly look more appealing? It's easier to read the link and people will more likely click on it.

Think about it, let's say you are not so lucky to find good name for your website and you get, tipstomakemoneyonline.com When you read it and have dyslexia the words will confuse you. But let's make it more looking :)

What not to do:

Some of you may have seen link looking like this Www.LinksLookSpammy.Com see this is to much and just look spammy. www.LinksLookSpammy.com This is fine.
